Who this is for
This flagship session is for employees in Germany who are currently unwell, have recently returned, or are preparing for a foreseeable absence. It is particularly useful when an employment contract, company handbook, or manager’s request seems unclear.
What we examine
We build a dated account of when incapacity began, when the employer was notified, whether an electronic certificate (eAU) should be available, and what requests have followed. We distinguish the duty to notify from the duty to provide proof and discuss the effect of any company rule requiring evidence from the first day.
What you receive
The fee includes a short pre-session review of up to eight pages, a 60-minute consultation in English, and a written recap within two business days. The recap provides a communication outline and points that may need a lawyer, statutory health insurer, doctor, works council, or public authority.
Preparation
Send the relevant contract clause, absence dates, and copies of employer messages with unnecessary personal details removed. Do not send diagnoses, complete medical records, identity documents, or health insurance numbers.
